Jeff & Julie Londo . . .
are a full-time husband and wife team that has been selling real estate together for over 15 years. Julie obtained her real estate license in Houston, TX back in 1987 and they practiced real estate together in Michigan for over 12 years. They relocated to Aiken, South Carolina in the spring of 2006. After searching all over the US for a new place to call home, they chose Aiken because of it's historic Downtown, it's commitment to historic preservation, the great school system (for their son) and the lovely weather. Michigan winters were cold and full of snow and although the summers in Aiken are warm, there's lots of sunshine, nearby lakes and swimming clubs to join and plenty of fresh air! Shoveling snow is a thing of the past!
Their love for restoring old homes is one of their most precious passions. They have restored 5 homes together and were mentioned in our local newspaper for their outstanding job and the fact that they took a home that hadn't been lived in for more than 15 years and brought it back to life! They were successful in selling that home in a short period of time. The new buyer was thrilled to be the recipient of such a special home! They also received an award from the Aiken Historical Society for their restoration efforts in Downtown Aiken. The Aiken Historic Society is just one of the many groups in Aiken that recognizes the need to preserve and protect our historic past.
When the Londo's aren't selling a home or holding an open house, they can usually be found working on a project at their current address or helping a client with tips on preparing their home for sale! With their love and understanding of what it takes to improve a home – and what it takes to successfully sell a home – the combination is an asset to their clients. They also enjoy bike riding and have discovered many wonderful places to ride. They've participated in a few 'fun rides' and bike rides to benefit charities. They also enjoy being out in nature and mountain biking. Having grown up in Michigan with abundant lake living, you can also find them enjoying one of the areas lakes (Lake Thurmond or Lake Murray) where they love to enjoy waterskiing, tubing or swimming!
