We also have many housing communities designed for the golf enthusiast or horse owners. There are so many choices here. The average price for a house in Aiken is approximately $155,000 and even with the decline in real estate prices recently, Aiken has only fallen 2.7% in the past 3 years. That's not bad when you compare it to the rest of the nations housing economy.
The climate is great here. We enjoy 4 seasons but don't have harsh winters and summertime is enjoyable with lots of neighborhood swim clubs and several lakes within a 2 hour drive.
